How to Make Flavored Ice Cubes
Flavored ice cubes are an easy way to add a refreshing burst of flavor to mocktails, sparkling water, lemonade, and iced tea. As they melt, they slowly infuse your drink instead of watering it down. This example uses mint-infused ice cubes, but the same simple method works for any flavor combination you choose.

2 Ice Cube Trays
1 Measuring Cup
- 1 cup filtered water
- 32+ fresh mint leaves or your preferred flavor combo
Clean and dry your flavor ingredients (in this case, I'm using mint leaves) and divide them between the compartments of an ice cube tray. You can add whole mint leaves or tear them up and add them depending on the look you are going for. I like to add the small leaves whole, and break up the larger ones.

Fill each compartment with filtered water.
1 cup filtered water
Freeze for 4–6 hours or overnight until solid.
Add to mocktails, sparkling water, lemonade, iced tea, or summer drinks.
- For clearer ice cubes, use filtered or boiled-and-cooled water.
- Freeze in layers if using fruit or flowers for a prettier look.
- Store in a freezer-safe bag for up to 3 months.
